Every year since 1948, there has been arranged a congress for marine technology students from five Nordic technical universities; The Nordic Technical Universities Shipbuilders Congress, NTHS:

• Aalto University of Science and Technology - Helsinki, Finland
• Chalmers University of Technology - Gothenburg, Sweden
• Royal Institute of Technology - Stockholm, Sweden
• The Norwegian University of Science and Technology - Trondheim, Norway
• The Engineering College of Copenhagen - Copenhagen, Denmark

Up to ten students from each university, 50 students in total will meet to visit industries as well as for social events. Students at the start of their future career as naval architects will get to know more about marine related industry, other students and cultures during the week.
